🐕‍🦺 How to Create a Pet Boarding Booking in GoPet AI

Ready to check in a furry guest? Follow these 6 simple steps to create your first boarding booking with GoPet AI! 💼🐾

📍 Go to: https://www.gopetai.com/dashboard/boarding/bookings/new


🧍 Step 1 of 6: Select Pet Parent

Choose the pet parent who is making the booking.

  • Search by name, email, or phone 📇

  • Or click “Add New Pet Parent” if they’re a first-time customer!

✅ Example: Name: Lane Smite Email: xxxxx@gmail.com


📅 Step 2 of 6: Choose Dates

Pick the Check-in and Check-out dates for the stay.

  • The system will calculate the stay duration automatically.

  • Example:

    • Check-in: Jul 28, 2025

    • Check-out: Jul 29, 2025

    • 1 night stay


🛏️ Step 3 of 6: Select Room(s)

Choose the boarding room(s) for the pet's stay.

Example Room: Cozy Room

  • Type: Standard

  • Accepts: Cats only

  • Capacity: 2 pets

  • Rate: RM30/night (1 pet) or RM50/night (2 pets)

  • Feature: Room cleaned daily 🧹

➡️ Set the quantity (e.g. 1 room) and click Next.


🐾 Step 4 of 6: Select Pet(s)

Choose the pet(s) to be boarded.

  • You can select multiple pets for the booking.

  • Or click “Add New Pet” if the pet is not listed yet.

✅ Example: Pet Name: Mojo Species: Cat


📦 Step 5 of 6: Assign Pets to Rooms

Assign pets to available rooms and room numbers.

  • Use Auto Assign if you want GoPet AI to do it for you!

  • Manually enter the Room Number (e.g. 101) if needed.

✅ Example Assignment:

  • Room: Cozy Room #101

  • Assigned Pet(s): Mojo (1 of 2 slots filled)


🧾 Step 6 of 6: Booking Summary

Review everything before you confirm:

  • Pet Parent: Lane Smite

  • Dates: Oct 14 – Oct 29, 2025 (15 nights)

  • Room: Cozy Room #101 – RM30/night

  • Pets: Mojo (Cat)

  • Total Amount: RM450

  • Add any Special Instructions like dietary notes or medication 💊


✅ Confirm Booking & Create Invoice

Click “Confirm Booking & Create Invoice” to finalize.


🚀 After Confirmation

🎟️ Invoice:

  • The system generates an invoice

  • It’s not sent to the customer automatically — review it first for deposit, discount, etc.

📆 Calendar:

  • Booking is now visible in your boarding calendar

  • Great for scheduling and staff coordination
