💳 How to Collect Payment (Record Payment)

📍 After invoice is created, go to: dashboard & click invoice number Find the invoice you want to collect payment for, then click “Record Payment”


🧾 Example Invoice Info

  • Invoice Total: $32.25

  • Amount Paid: $0.00

  • Remaining Balance: $32.25


✅ Steps to Record Payment

1. Select Payment Method

Choose how the customer is paying:

  • 💵 Cash

  • 💳 Card

  • 📱 eWallet

  • 🏦 Bank Transfer

  • 🐾 Or any custom method you’ve set up


2. Choose Payment Amount

You can:

  • Tap Full Amount – to auto-fill the total $32.25

  • Tap Half Amount – to collect 50% upfront

  • Or manually enter any custom amount


3. Hit “Record Payment”

Once confirmed, the system will:

  • ✅ Update invoice status

  • 📬 Mark payment received

  • 🧾 Save to your records automatically


✨ After Recording Payment

  • You can now Print Receipt or Send to Customer

  • Invoice will update to Paid or Partially Paid based on amount received
