📦 GoPet AI Inventory Management Tutorial

Track your pet products like a pro — no more guessing stock levels!


🛒 Step 1: View Your Inventory


➕ Step 2: Add a New Product

Click “Add New Product” and fill in:

🔹 Basic Info

  • SKU (e.g., PF-001)

  • Barcode (optional)

  • Product Name (e.g., Premium Dog Food)

  • Description (optional)

  • Product Image (optional)

🔹 Category

  • Group Category (e.g., Food, Toys, Accessories)

  • Sub-Category (e.g., Wet Food, Dry Food, Grooming)

🔹 Inventory

  • Current Stock (e.g., 10)

  • Reorder Point – When stock drops below this, you’ll get a reminder

  • Expired Date (optional)

    • 🧠 System alerts you 3 months before expiry!

  • Supplier (select or add new)

🔹 Pricing

  • Selling Price (RM) – What you charge customers

  • Cost Price (RM) – What you paid

  • Taxable – Enable if tax applies

  • Product Status – Active/Inactive (inactive won’t appear in POS)

✅ Click Add Product to save


🔄 Step 3: Add Stock to Existing Product

If you're restocking, don’t create a new product — just add stock:

  1. Click “Add Stock”

  2. Search & Select Item by name, SKU, or barcode

  3. Enter Quantity to Add

  4. (Optional) Set Expiry Date

  5. Add a note (e.g., “Received new shipment”)

✅ Click Save — stock will be updated instantly!


🔍 Tips & Best Practices:

  • Set a Reorder Level to avoid running out of popular items

  • Regularly check the Expiry tab to prevent waste

  • Track profit margin and spot low-profit items

  • Monitor supplier performance and pricing
